Melody Li is a Hong Kong artist specialised in illustration and frame by frame animation. She focuses on using animal characters especially rabbits to depict the stories she observed through daily life and convey the sentimental feelings with the use of vintage and surreal graphic elements to create work.

With this artwork, Melody depicts the hustle-and-bustle lifestyle of Hong Kong through vivid animal characters and vintage textures. The old-fashioned overhanging street signs, the cars streaming past, and the people slipping through busy roads together embody the unmistakable character of Hong Kong.
